Light In Snow ( Ying Wong ) is a Hong Kong-based designer and ceramics maker. In 2007, she studied ceramics and received her diploma (DFA) by the Hong Kong Art School. In 2019, she received her Bachelor of Creative Arts (Digital Media) by studying film-making and VFX. At the same time, she was awarded the Digital Media Prize by Flinders University and Hong Kong Talent Development Scholarship by Education Bureau HKSAR.
She had been working on ceramics for over 9 years. Before she turned 30, she decided to give up her stable job and moved to Japan, she then was chosen and became an apprentice of Japanese potter for a while. Since 2015, she traveled to Germany and created a set of functional ceramic-“Light in Snow X I.SEE.FIRE” and artworks with a German artist.
